If you are unhappy with the service provided by a user, seller, dealer or employer, on this site and have contacted them directly, but not received a satisfactory response, we would like to know. Please notify us by clicking here and completing the form.

We will suspend or terminate any user, seller, dealer or employer, from our site if we do not believe they are operating according to our "Terms of Use" Policy. Likewise, we reserve the same right to terminate a buyer's or user's membership.

All payments on 'SOC exchange' are processed via PayPal. PayPal is the global leader in online payment processing. PayPal has a Buyer Protection policy that can be activated by all users of the PayPal payment processing system. Please check PayPal eligibility.

 

Common Sense is the BEST Form of Fraud Protection

It is simply the nature of buying and selling online that caution must be exercised 100% of the time. When buying or selling online your own personal judgement is going to determine whether the transaction you are involved in is going to be successful for both parties.

Check all sellers thoroughly before initiating any transaction. Email them via their 'SOC exchange' website and request a phone number (if no number is listed) and call them to confirm who they are, what they are selling and the price of the item in question, before any money is transacted. This establishes for you an interactive point of contact with the seller.

Common Sense is the best form of 'Protection' available to you! At 'SOC exchange' we will not hesitate in terminating the membership of any user, seller or buyer, who we even suspect of violating our 'Terms of Use' Policy. However, it is extremely difficult to recover any funds that may have been paid to a fraudulent seller or to retrieve any goods that may have been delivered to a fraudulent buyer!

Unlike other websites we do not pretend that, we will be able to or have the power to, retrieve any money or items resulting from an unsuccessful transaction. It is extremely difficult to retrieve 'anything' once any part of a transaction has been initiated. It is for this reason that we emphasize to all users, buyers and sellers, to take the time to check and verify who the user, buyer or seller is, to the best of your ability, before any important information, money or items are transacted.

If you happen to be making a delivery or pick-up with someone locally and therefore may be meeting them in person, please remember to:

  • Meet in a public place ‘to the extent possible'.
  • Tell a family member or friend where you are going and who you are meeting, and when you will return.
  • Take your cell phone with you, if you have one.
  • Take someone with you.
  • Trust your instincts.

Taking these simple precautions will help make the world a safer place.
